xerox 700 digital color press..please help - error code 42-326

    How do you get rid of error code 42-326 on the xerox 700 digital color press?

    I believe that is the transfer belt silver patch is not being detected by the edge sensor, the patch and all rollers will need to be cleaned and the patch inspected for any damage or missing patch, then will need to do belt edge training to resolve the problem.

    Ok, so you get that error fix - but you have rebooted the machine too many times. Now it is locked in the copy only mode. What is the code to reset the block?

    Try this:
    From your message you sound like someone who is trained in servicing this machine and you probably well know that using this procedure is at your own risk:
    Hold down 0 (zero) for 5 seconds and press start (green) button
    Enter 6789, confirm
    Press log in/log out button or the key button
    Press systems settings, common settings, maintenance, NVM read/ write
    Enter nvm 741-105 and change it to 0 (zero)
    I have also seen advice to, after cleaning or replacing the transfer belt, to check the belt hole sensor for paper dust or other contamination.

    I have cleaned the IT belt but code is still there and therefore want to clear it and I don't know how to enter the diagnostic mode

    press 0 wait 5 second and click start button (green). now type 6789 and confirm.

    Wondering if anyone is still monitoring this thread. I am having this same issue and I have replaced the belt, replaced the sensor and attempted to reset the NVM code but the error continues. Anybody have any other ideas or thoughts on this?
