Xerox 242 Printing Queue

I just installed a used xerox doc. 242, on Mac OS X, with the supplied PPD, but the machine only prints directly, I am not able to find the hold queue anywhere on my system. Any help with this will be appreciated!!!

 

I'm not a Mac person but it should be similar to a PC. Install your printer again but add a new printer port name for the same IP address used. After on a PC we go into Printers directory and right click and choose Printer Properties, in printer properties select ports. Instead of Direct it should be LPR and you can then set a queue name of hold or is it HOLD., being unix its going to be case specific, I'm guessing it hold. Sorry I'm at home now so can't peek at my settings.

Benefit of a different port name is you will still have your Direct Printer.
