Dear Friends,

After reviewing a number of long forum threads, which are asking/providing assistance(far irrelevant often) in a MSC2/3 machine reprogramming after its 3.6V Ni-Cd accumulator battery failure, we would like to get more information both, on the data/parameters kept in SRAM/registers powered of the battery, and on the Cassette recorder for storing user work programs.
1. The major problems are in reprogramming of some system paramaters of the machines, when them has been corrupted. And user work programs can be reprogrammed in an easy way if the system parameters are ok. Is that right?
2. The optional Data Cassette Recorder is used only for user's work programs, and not for a machine's system parameters. Is that right? How the recorder could be useful or not before/after the battery faulure? Can the recorder store system parameters as well?
3. Have someone seen and/or used the optional Tape Cassette Recorder? Please provide its manufacturer's name, model, pictures and its interface technical details.
Thanks,
Alex
