Wohlenberg 115 MCS-2 TV electronics issue

Hello. There is no high tone or low tone. Just the cursor. It actually rebuilds the damaged pcs trace. but nothing. But the surrounding ic socket not yet. Pcb a108 is not there either. The owner bought it in Spain. But it came without that PCB.

I immediately can't recognize PCB a108. Can you send some photos of upper panel and the control box?
If you correctly rebuilt the PCB traces, then you have to check the ICs RAMs and ROMs. Do you have necessary facilities to do it?

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with this model. It seems you have a newer model than what we have here in sri lanka. But as I can see the board in the photo made to replace the classic relay board. I'm kind of familiar with the black connectors. They seems same as the connectors on the relay board. However, Can you send me the photo of the control board of the upper panel? Maybe the missing board is not necessary. We can find it out after the display comes.

Are you still having issues, or is the machine working now. ?

The "Machine Parameters" in the Screen shot are totally corrupted, and will need to be set correctly.
(Happens when battery is removed, or changed).

In any case, if all is not working, let me know .. and I can help you.

Hello.
Greetings. The machine is not working. I've only made the start cursor appear. One tone when the machine is turned on. I turned on the motor by making a jumper between the connector pins ST2-7 and ST2-8. This I did because I draw part of the boot circuit. But when the CPU is not working the Y / Delta start does not switch. I also made a jumper between the pins ST2-22 and ST2-24 corresponding to the security bolt. Tonight I will work in my house on the CPU.

We have MCS-2 TV and we have very big problem with this machine.I already search entire internet for a year and didnot find any useful information or any English service and operating manual , we have only German manuals.
1)I need English language operating manual and service manual.
2) We need electrical and mechanics diagrams in English.
3) The air table didnot work (but worked at the begining) , also we cannot login new dimensions and cannot save to memory (worked before) , we cannot use any function buttons all are unfunctional.We can only use the machine with manual adjustment.May be the main motor blocked it self for security purposes..
There is a message on screen " HAUPTMOTOR EINSCHALTEN" what was that ?? How can i turn the menu from German to English ??
4) Also the dimension trench(barrier) didnot work and sometimes it was stucked.
Could anyone has English manuals and diagrams please send to my mail (lordofmoon@hotmail.com) i will be very very glad to and pray to..
Also , if any useful ideas about my problem please tell me , cuz i need. HELP ME PLEASE , Thanks..

1. All programs are gone.
2. Backguage is not moving forward.
3. I cannot change mm to inch conversion,
4. Service Data is corrupted. How to change it.

Do you have schematic diagrams for instructions?
1) Need to test the Power supply for this machine in the T2-transformer the
primary side is controlled by MAIN contactor KO
2) 3 PHASES supply the +24Vdc to the Relais PCB.
See if this 2 elements(main contactor +Relais +24Vdc is working)??

Dear Friends,

I am severely stuck with a issue. My MCS is giving positioning error. Like my required value is 534.5 but the machine stops at 533.65. I have adjusted the Service data tolerance from 0.1 to 0.5 but the error is still there. Please have a look at the pictures attached.

its battery get dawn and all program of the instrument intrupted.
it means we have main menu but it dont accept any order.

I see a lot of Miss-Information in this post, and no real solutions provided.
So.
#1 Do NOT replace the Re-Chargeable Nicad Battery (or updated Re-Chargeable NiMH battery) with any type of NON-Recharge battery !!. The circuity will try to re-chargeable the battery, and using a NON-Rechargeable battery will most probably cause the battery to overheat, leak, and cause damage.
Note: Original manufacturer's battery was Nicad. A Far better modern replacement is a NiHM battery, (Better ability to recharge to full capacity.. Nicad batteries have "memory" issues etc etc etc).

You should be able to find the correct battery type anywhere in the world. (3.6V )

#2 If the battery does go flat, fails, or is replaced, you will loose both any programs you have saved, as well as the "Machine Parameters".
You should document and keep all the 6-8 machine parameters, so at any time you can re-enter them.

#3 If you are getting POSITION ERROR when in Automatic/Programmed cutting, then you will probably need to change the 1st Parameter (The Stopping distance)
This varies slightly from machine to machine, as well as with age/wear of the leadscrew, leadscrew bearings and play, and backgauge motor brake.
Do not adjust the TOLERANCE (2nd parameter), unless it is not set to the Factory Defaults.

(If you cannot cut reliably with Factory Tolerance set, and optimally adjusted Stopping distance, this is a sure indication of something very wrong, and that should be investigated and corrected, rather than just accepting and allowing the machine to cut less accurately).

There are simple procedures that "anyone" can do to set/ confirm any of the machine parameters, or to adjust the 1st "Cutting Distance" parameter, to its OPTIMAL setting.
Unfortunately those easy procedures are not included in any Wohlenberg OEM manual

(For Liability reasons, I can not post the procedures we use when repairing/servicing, but if you would like a copy, shoot me an email, including a detailed description of your problem)

There is little or no reason why the Wholenberg SMP, 85, 86, 90 cutter cannot be serviced to run with a very high degree of reliability, if serviced correctly.

Do not replace any Battery NOT-rechargeable, is BIG error.
However Always Very Strong! FIRST test the Power Supply
The power supply in ANY machine of the world is The Heart of ANY machine
If some Voltages is Missing, the machine Will be Display Any Errors!!!
As electrical+electronic Eng P.E that I am by over 45 years in experienced Troubleshooting Around the world(Now retired),saw a Hundreds of failures only because No test the power Supply, and Some Voltages like +5 or -12Vdc ,was Missing!
Do not waste time+Money.

Also, many of the older Wohlenberg (S85, 86, 90) have adjustable Taps on their input transformer(s) to adjust and raw, unregulated transformer output, to the correct voltage, depending on the location's 3 phase supply voltage.

These unregulated voltage (ie -42v on system 85) should be measured, and if too high or too low, an attempt should be made to adjust the transformer's input taps, to obtain an output voltage level closer to the desired level.
