Go with the Japs. They have built a better mashine , the construction is solid, the imaging heads are more advanced, you need less consumables, front and side lays on every mashine, IR on every mashine, printing on 300 lpi. Mashine and spare parts will be around for many years to come. The QM is cheap, but is cheaply made

    Hi Mechanic,
I don't agree that QM DI is cheap made. It's the first press on market (except GTO) that make this technology
alive and is still running well . It's made by Heidelberg and still has this quality.
Of course Presstek is now the better press, but you compare two or even three generations of presses.
And the big price different is speaking for QM DI.

    Hi Dinom00
I know all QM DI customers in Croatia. If you want I can give you contact to them. You can talk to them like pressman to pressman and see yourself this press.
There is also one Karat 46 there but I don't know his address.
I provide installations, service, spare parts and consumable, for QM DI.
I have some experiences on Karat 46 as well.
Don't hesitate to contact me if you need any help. (I speak Croatian language)

I did my aprentiship in HDM in Wiesloch, I worked on Heidelberg presses foe many years, i was there from the very birth of HEIDI, i know things from within. Believe me, i know the flaws of both presses.

  • Price we can negotiate, impressions 11 mill. Press has been fully refurbed, cleaned and print tested and is supplied with a brand new RIP.
We are located in Stockport, Cheshire.
