I'm new to running a digital press and I'm leasing a Cannon 9075 with a Fiery (attached) and Command WS 5 ...during my diligence I reviewed prints from both the Cannon 9075 and the Xerox 700 and both had a nice wet black (4/c) shiny on gloss paper like chrome coat... we ultimately chose the 9075, But this device has not been able to reproduce the wet black... and I would like any suggestions on how I can achieve this. thank you.

I'm not familiar with this specific printer -- but until someone else who is jumps in:
Are you registering the paper as coated?
What happens if you tell the machine it is a bit heavier than it is so it runs through the fuser slower to increase the gloss?
Have you compared the look of a rich black solid (made of CMY and K printed in color) vs. pure black only?
