Hello dear Expert folks around the world,

I hope it finds you very well, friends. Here on a customer’s Heidelberg SM74-2P there is a very weird malfunction.

Each morning when they switch-on the press, malfunction item number 8 eight is coming up and the remedy is just a simple cold restart (switch-off: wait for some long seconds then switch-on) and this iconic error would disappeared.

Very rare they said icon number 13 was showing on display screen, but not every morning. (Less than two or three times).

I should add that a hard-reset has been done but didn’t help.

At the moment its mode is on straight-printing and they fear to change over to Perfect mode.

Very kindly what do you think and let me know all of your viewpoint please.

    Best Regards,

    Andy

    Hello Mathew,
As I said on text, they are printing right now, machine is working.

just at morning after night rest time and back to work, so they switch on the press and this error message appears and after a simple restart (Main switch off/on) it disappeared.
This is why I used the photos from Manual

Hope it be enough clear to understand.

    Andy

    Hello Dear Adil,
Thank you very much in advance for your kind feedback and guideline.
And very sorry to say that I cannot allocate where the SAK:Speicher-Analogkarte or Memory Analog Board is. would you please let me know where is this SAK located?

And further question: what is the safe process to check battery voltage and if i remove the Card, will I loose important data?

Thank You very much, if you enforce the answer ASAP.

    Regards

P.S. it made in year: 2003 (compact CPtronic)

Yes yes , regarding the last picture this is compact machine there is no no sak board only ewk and zsk , in this case you have to check sensor synchronisation and function , check the zero position of the the format adjustment crown is all good then you have to disassemble the crown drive pinion and check the key and the drive shaft if there is any wear, replace if necessary
