WC 7556 vs ColorQube Processing time...

We have a WC 7556 and a Colorqube 9202. Both are using the internal Xerox controller. For some reason when we send variable data with complex art to the 7556 each sheet will take the same time, usually around 45 seconds, to process before printing. On the old 9202 though the first one will take some time, but then the rest are much faster. It acts like it is caching the static data and only processing what has changed. If this is the case is there a way to get the newer 7556 to do the same?
