Water pan roller made by Pamarco

We get our water metering rollers from Pamarco. Lately the rollers have been developing 2mm wide ruts every 2mm across the roller, causing the ink to lay with verticle stripes. No mater how much i clean the rollers, they get worse over the course of a few weeks. Is there anything i can do to fight this besides switching roller manufacturers? The damage seems like manufacturing defects during the rubber application.
