Hi all, could anyone have any ideas of how water is traveling up the roller train and flooding the ducts mainly magenta, all rollers have been set and chemistry has been checked. one theory is the fount solution we are using, as dampening on all units has been affected the values have come down from late 30's to around 20. any suggestions would be grateful.

is it possible that the press always used the air curtain to blow down excess water and now the air curtain is either not working or turned off?

I'm pretty sure they are all off, we never touch them and there are no faults on that, will double check in case, we thought it should have something to do with fount as all the units have had the damp reduced by half. The press seems to be printing fine until the water actually mixes with the duct ink then we lose all consistency and have to replace the ink. frustrating not being able to pinpoint the cause.
    Thanks for your suggestion.

Also double check intermediate (Z-roller) setting to Damper form and first form roller.

Did you changed your chemistry or inks?
Also as hters mentioned, check your z roller...
