Dear respected seniors,

What is the purpose of cooled water circulating into the roller train. Old model press not use this, and mostly currently using.

What is the usage of water circulation?

My press there's problem with the circulation. Can I use press without circulation.
What problem Can expect without circulation water into roller train?

Advice please.

It's called inking unit temperature control. The purpose of this is to keep constant temperature of inking rollers which is important to keep constant colour especially in long runs.
You can run the machine without it but is worth to fix it especially in where you live.
What's the problem with it?

  • In some machine you can not tun without this thermoregulation system , because there a relation between thermoregulation system and dampending solution especially if you have one motor .
It give error lack thermoregulation solution and the temperature of dampending system will be down .
So you can not run without this system

The flow of water through the ink roller is an important process in the printing process. In an offset printing press, water and ink must be handled very precisely to obtain high-quality prints. The water circulation system is specially designed to keep the ink and ink residue on the printing plate and cylinder.

The process involves using a watering system that distributes a large amount of water onto the printing plate. The water creates a film layer on the non-image areas, driving the ink away from those areas and allowing it to adhere to the photo areas. This method ensures that only the photo area receives ink, resulting in accurate and clear text.
