Washup device not found sm52

Dear All,

I have a sm52-5-p-L year 2004. with CPtronic 2000. software version 47.4.

The blanket washup device on the 4th unit is not even visible. all other units are working fine.
I tested the two sensors that are responsible for monitoring the washup device and the washup device gear, and both are working fine and turning red when touched. There are no air leaks. and their signals to board 4Evm4 are visible and switch between 0-24v when touched.
I checked the flex cables to the main boards and they are well attached.
I tried switching solenoid Y54 on unit 3 with solenoid Y54 on unit 4 with no luck.

On a side note, what I noticed when I pull out the washup device on unit 3, different error appears on the screen (washup device not mounted). so it could be a problem during initialization of the machine.

Did anyone ever face this problem?

I saw a previous post where @junker1984 said "under cartridge side frame gear side "Likely failed sensor directly under cartridge side frame gear side. Might try wiping off any debris." I can not find it anywhere, can anyone assist?

 

If I understand correctly what Junker said, the cartridge is removed to see the detector. Thank you very much

 

Confirm to me the power supply 24 vDC is it in tolerance +-0.7 .
Be sure that the plate is in good position
Also Is the washing blade correctly positioned and the sensor is clean?.

Dear All,

The problem was within the festo solenoids below. There was a short in the board inside the unit.
I was able to pull the unit out, remove all black festo solenoids. resolder it, and it worked.
