Using Excel for Estimating

We are a small offset printer in Lebanon. We are really having a problem with estimating and are trying desperately to produce a full price list of all our printing products as we are setting up a web to print solution right now.

We have a couple of questions:

1) Are there any European pricing books where its easy to look up the printing specs and price accordingly with the ability to have variable of course depending on internal margins and paper costs ? I have seen some books like this in the USA but they are no good for our metric and gram system.
2) Does anyone have an excel sheet they have built to simplify estimating where we can plug in our own variables ?
3) We do have an estimating software but its complicated to use and are trying to find an easier and quicker system without relying 100% on the old pencil and paper method.

Any help or excel sheets or advice is greatly appreciated.

(or even a simple estimating software that is web based that can handle cost per clicks or impressions and not pricing per hour)

Thanks

Hi Fadi!

What printing services do you offer? Maybe we could narrow down the search by giving us your business scope. Also, are you offering printing services outside of Lebanon or are you just focusing on your local market?

Cheers!
