    Hello everyone,

    I have issue with Komori Lithrone 40 working panel, more precisely unit select keys, after switching on the machine they start blinking and after all of them blinked it switches off. It doesn't show me any error code on my PQC and if anybody have any information or can help me please write.
    It's been 3 months since it happened.

    So when I turn on the press, all lights on working panel board switch on and then they switch off, press is working but I can't control the units and I can't load my file for printing form, only for example if I use button stop and stop the light on one of the units I am able to print on only one where I stopped it, if I try to press any other or to switch on more units or to press this buttons it's not allowing me, zero response. I tried with changing whole panel but it gives me still same outcome.

    Dear Komori,

    I do not familiar with the machine, general recommendations:

    It looks as a fatal error which does not allow to start controlling, a control indicates it by flashing the buttons and turns itself off.

    Continue to do something and the God will assist you:
    At least you know that the flashing panel is ok.

    It is seen another panel from left which may also participate in the controlling, power supplies, control unit itself, SENSORS,.. even cabling from the control to executive mechanisms or from sensors.

    Do not concentrate on the buttons, the problem is located in another component.
    Prehistory of the fault and visual inspection?

    Off the subject please:
    What type of the monitor is used in the machine, what is its interface if known?

    Regards,
    Oleg T.

    Dear Komori,

    I do not know what is PQC4, sorry. All my current ideas were listed in my previous message, start to execute them until a more exact recommendation from someone.

    Do this;
    1) Perform a visual inspection : look for loose and broken wires, improperly seated connectors, loose or broken wires
    misset switch, missing jumpers. and so on.
    Chech for obviously damaged component(components burned or discolore due to overheating);
    Dust + dirt + tear +wear

    2) Reseating Boards and components:
    Edge connectors are a common souorce of problems. Power down the system and remove the PC boards. Examine the edge connector
    for contamination and clean with contacts cleaner contacts. Reseat any loose components such as scoketed ICs) . Reseat the
    boards and power up.

    3) Power supply checks:
    Check the power supply for missing voltages and voltages out of spec. A digital multimieter DMM can be necessary, as
    voltage specifications are quite tight: logic supplies for example: must be within + 5% percent of 5Vdc. All the
    multiple supplies and all must be checked.

    4) Board swapping:
    Board swapping involves the substitutiono of a known godd board for a suspect one.
    7) Components ; Rusting+Dry+Colder joint solders

    8)Cables; Corroded+Broken
