I've been told to spray silicone on my bookletmaker and paper jogger (jogger between collator and bookletmaker stapler) to help the paper slide easier with less friction.

What type of silicone exactly is best to spray on the bookletmaker?

Simply go to your nearby hardware store and buy an aerosol can of Pure Silicone Lubricant. Works great, and not expensive.

  • Be careful not to spray it on things that it shouldn't be sprayed on. Not only will it slick-up the rollers as you would expect causing loss of traction, but more, some of the sprays have components that will melt into rubber wheels and parts. So be careful to use a sheet of paper or otherwise mask off all wheels and rubber stops, pads, and grips that you don't want to lose their grip and/or be softened or melted by the generic sprays.
