Triumph Ideal 5221-95 clamp stuck

The clamp on our trimmer is stuck partially in the down position (the jogger block was unintentionally left under the clamp during operation). I've tried unplugging it and restarting to try and reset the electronics and I've tried pressing in the safety buttons underneath and cycling the machine, neither has worked. Is there a way to manually move this clamp back to the start position?
