Hello... We have two Epson Stylus Pro 7000 machines, one of which we have been using for several years, the other which has been sitting. Based on the test pattern print out, we have a severely clogged Light Cyan printhead. Repeated cleanings / KK2 cycles / paper towel & windex have all been fruitless. The pattern has not gotten one line better. I have ordered a Universal position flushing cartridge online, and an Epson Printer Head Cleaning Kit, which basically purges the system... the method is straightforward enough... a syringe, sans needle, cleaning fluid and a tube to hook up to the ink-in-flow port and you force cleaning fluid through the lines and out the head. Should I try this? Yikes... that seems aggressive. Of course, I'll try the cartridge first... but it's not refillable, and I want to get an idea of what my next step will be when it runs dry. All other colors print fine on the patterns, by the way. Also tried printing a purge image, by the way. I know the printer that's been sitting will have the same issues.... so I really need a solution here. Thanks in advance for you help and advice! Mike
