Timing issues sm 52

I am having more timing issues on our SM 52. I dought that this press has ever timing adjuster at feeder checked, it may be just worn out. But let me start with something simpler, what degree should the infeed wheels touch down? Thanks

 

Dear sir,
First of all you have to identify what causes the wrong timing and eliminate it before start the timing procedure.
Check the main feeder clutch, dismantle and clean if necessary, then use a marker and mark the 2 pieces of the clutch, and check if the marks met after switching the feeder on, off, on again.
Check the overrunning clutch which lays at D.S next to forwarding roll, change it if necessary.
Check these points to continue for the timing.

 

This press is all enclosed, how do you get to these parts to check them?

 

These parts are behind the feeder guard DS.
I prefer calling a mechanical engineer who is familiar with SM52 machines.
