Hi,
I have a modified epson 4880. I've googled several forums, sites, mentioning the advantages of cleaning the wiper.
I think I forced it out by pulling, when instead I should have just reached in with q-tips to clean. The wiper won't return to its "retracted" position towards the rear of the printer. If I manually return it to its retracted position, it comes out when doing a cleaning cycle, but does not retract again.
Also, the printer will no longer do a proper nozzle check. Just looks like fuzzy dots was sprayed on the paper. I think this is due to the malfunctioning wiper.
How do I fix this? Please help.
