Ooo, ooo, ooo :::raises hand::: I know a preventative trick for this one! We learned it from watching our techs, who are awesome btw.

After putting in a cold fuser roll like normal, close everything up and wait about 30 seconds, then open the fuser drawer and push it back in. That is it. Super simple, but it really works (for us anyway). Don't wait too long before doing the "drawer pull" workaround or the fault will pop up.

also, I should mention: Need to log onto diagnostics as service, to clear active codes, then reboot. -Eric

I would get this fault first thing when I walked into work in the mornings after the machine had been sitting for roughly 8 hours untouched.

This fault repeated for 3 mornings in a row before I got a tech in to solve the issue.

XPE-10-3180 Web Cleaner Motor Windings Fault

Temporary Solution: Restart the press, fault would go away and fuser would warm up.

Permanent fix: Replace one of the fuser web roll motors. Plastic gear inside was wearing out and would eventually cause the motor to fail, preventing the fuser web from working.

CRM failed to initialize: Press fault restart the press

I want to say this happens after the operator or technician forgets to close the call or diagnostics while in PSP mode, but not totally sure. Once the machine restarts, this fault appears alongside a print engine fault.

FIX: open up the upper right circuit board panel on the back of the print engine. You will see a bunch of blinking lights and the letters 'OP' displaying in each section. Verify that each section does indeed say 'OP'. If you have this fault, is likely that one of these sections will say 'Cfig' instead. If that is true, do a complete shutdown of the PSIP, including flipping off the lower circuit breakers above area 10. Upon reboot, the circuit panel should display 'OP' across the board. And thus, no more fault.

    XPE-10-3180 "Fuser Motor..."

Resettable fault. Kept coming up. Check the cable connection to/from the fuser motor. Fixed it right up.

XPE-10-5009 "Call for service". Log into PSP and reset Fuser 10B and reboot.
Back up and running... (so far)...

XPE-10-3053 Paper Jam 10A. Check and make sure your sensor's connection is secure. The plastic clip on ours ended up being loose.

very cool, thanks for the link!!!

But that gives a few generic answers..

we are looking for the easy time savers.... for confusing errors.

    saved it to favorites though!

ETAC DIFF/SPEC CLEANBELT SIGNATURE failures. Cleaned sensors multiple times and even blew it gently with canned air. Same failure when running a 951. Any suggestions?

What was the last thing done previous to the error or does it happen often?
I would try a new PR belt, double check the cleaning blade, make sure the charge stations are seated correctly. Last, shut the iGen, PSIP and DFE down for 10 -15 minutes and then power up again.

XPE-09-3014 i get this alot pt, its PR DRIVE MOTOR VELOCITY FAULT, it happens to me because the PR belt is too static, i have to change them if that happens.

Another time i had this fault was because of donor rolls not being properly seated after a developerbox clean.

Try unlatch your PR belt, if you cant drag it smoothly towards you it might be too static.

If fault persists, replace fuser interlock switch.
