i have found an imagesetter for sale (Panther Plus 46) with no online processor attached. Seller is saying it was working fine before upgrading to ctp (last time he used it - about 1.5 years ago). How do I test it without a processor attached - any ideas? or should i just pass on this one?
also, if it can be tested what should i be looking for?

run it in a dark environment and wet a rag with processing chemicals and wipe by hand. Is it made to go directly into the processor or does it go into a take-up casette? If it goes into a casette you could just cart it somewhere nearby that has a processor.
