Hello.

I have problem on technotrans. Dosing of alcohol sometimes works sometimes not and it does not calculate how much alcohol does it need.

Errors on technotrans unit are ERROR 07, ERROR 08.

Does someone had same problems and maybe can share any soulution.

Check the serial cable to the Alcosmart, check the plug itself, some times it has some corrosion or dirty pins.

The errors dissapired by itself. I will check power supply and serial cable thank you guys for information. From technotrans all I got was to send our alcosmart to repair and that would last like 3 weeks.

Will inform you if I found something.

Today I checked supply voltage to alcosmart and it is ok 24,05VDC and when solenoid valve for alcohol engages it drops to 23,95VDC. This looks just fine. Errors are gone.

Still we have problem with alcohol dosing, sometimes don't work sometimes work and dose to much of alcohol. On display it says only 6% but there is much more alcohol. I belive it could be solenoid valve defective or maybe dirty? Will check tomorrow.

Some time ago we had error 13(auto callibration) on display, that disapired by itselt to. Maybe just need calibration?

Checked connector and it is fine no corosion. Alcosmart is only 4 years old.

Please can someone write step by step calibration for alcosmart? I have only instruction manuals no service manuals.

Let calibration be your last choice, could you tell me what is the gain and offset values?

Gain 0,979
Offset 1,075

How to perform calibration?

You do not have to make calibration,
Check the power supply (some times when the gas compressor start the 24 volts drops)
I faced the same problem years ago, I put a separate power supply for the Alcosmart.
So, double check the 24 v

I noticed in your first photo that there is a message from CF card not found is there so far ?
To know the cause of the problem, you need to know the meaning of the error number F166.
As soon as I am in front of the machine, I will give you solutions
