Hello!, I would like your help with the following: I know that in the CTP user interface there is a log with the total of plates processed, however every month in my job the CTP operator has to run an inventory of every type of plate he uses, and as you guess he always fails to have a good inventory because he is not the only one operating the CTP but other people is doing too. So it's hard to know how many plates were processed and of wich type/size. Is there any log where I can check that info in the CTP UI or in the Prinect Software? so we can have a better control of the plates used. Thanks in advance.

If you have prepress manager then you can.
Otherwise you have to generate a log file (in spannee menu)
Click on summary and generate log file press view now you will able to see
Hopefully it is useful to you

Hey! You should check both your CTP system and Prinect software for plate tracking. The CTP UI often has logs or reports that show detailed plate usage, including type and size. Prinect can also provide production reports that detail plate consumption by job. For better control, make sure operators log details consistently and consider periodic audits to keep everything accurate. If things get too tricky, an automated tracking solution might be worth looking into. Hope this helps!

Hey there! From my experience, you can check plate usage details in the CTP UI logs or the Prinect software. In Prinect, look for production reports—they often include plate types and sizes by job. In the CTP UI, try generating a log file via the spannee menu and viewing the summary. This should help streamline your inventory tracking!
