Stock scratching

hello all,

I was wondering if anyone might have some tips for an issue I'm currently having. I'm running a stock that is very high gloss on one side and uncoated on the backside. On my tail edge of my sheet going about halfway to centre I'm getting scratching marks. Starts off small and gradually worsens. Tried changing the gsm to be either higher or lower and still get the same result. This happened on no other stock just this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am assuming the stock is coverweight, so the grain must be short.
