Sormz last sheet not fully printing

Dear sirs
My sormz the last sheet only prints half after delivery on the second unit
We had a nut broken , I think the
Impression nut , will send pictures
And then the issue started
Our engineer check everything and
He said all is working well mechanical
N say that even electrical is ok because if fault in teldix box or eye
Sensor , it will not print on the first unit
He said we must change the underlay
Plate cylinder self adhesive film n blanket packing could be a issue
Pls any suggestions

Did you remove lower cover to look at the buffers on the bottom of impression solenoid? Or a loose hardened block on the rocking pawl?

I’m a bit rusty, S-press upper covers may also need to be removed to examine the hardened blocks.

Sir do you know the plate self adhesive foil on the plate cylinder of the sormz
What thick ness it is?
Because we need to change it
We use 0.30 mm plates
Is it also called positioning foil
Pls clarify sir

Mind you I’ve been long retired, but .014” (.35mm) rings a bell. Keep in mind, blanket should be packed to bearer height, plate packing should position the plate .004” to .006” over bearer height. Packing gauge is a must.

Hello Synil,
On the SORM, the pressurization in the first group is done using an electromagnet, but the second group is synchronized mechanically with the first group. You should check an adjustment rod; sometimes its tightening nut shifts, or you might have wear on the mechanical components.
