I'm back in business, after 4 years trying other things in my work life.
Last printing site I was hired we had canon image press... we never really became friends. But I got like 6 years experience with iGen3 and iGen4... the iGen4 had an inline up coater. This morning I probably have to do a belt change, can't remember the whole process. And I'm started off here in the holiday season (in Denmark you get 6 weeks paid vacation a year) so we are only 2 operators running day and night shift. If anyone could throw in a link, or a quick guide. I would really appreciate it! Greetings from the Copenhagen surburbs

    changing a PR belt?

EASY. heres how I do it. (no training i just figured it out) :)

    1 open area 3(transfer)
2 pull open the PR belt drawer handles.
    3 carefully slide out.
4 turn the belt tensioners so it releases
    5 remove belt
6 clean rollers with clean rag and alcohol.
7 on goes new belt., align as best you can with marks on outboard edge.
    8 turn Tensioners.
    9 slide back in carefully.
    10 lock both handles.
    11 close area 3.

    then

run auto belt setup. if you get tracking errors. open it up re-align and redo 7-10

then run programs 951 and TRC.
