sm74 protecting bar actuated

Hi. I have a sm74 and we are having issues on second unit.

we have error code that says “finger protecting bar actuated”. We opened the unit and everything looks fine

Any ideas what it can be? Machine will not run.

 

Open and close gate to unit gently move finger bar in and out. Open and close all gates on unit.

 

Red color bar is known as finger protection bar(from the side where you blanket and cylinder.)
It's switch is on the os.
Some time it's accutor get stuck.
Open cover and check switch it should not pressed

 

Also check fault display on cp2ooo .

 

As Ashok said the problem can be caused by the faulty switch stuck or cut wire on the service side.
Also check the bar at the cylinder cords because also the accumulated ink can activate the bar and it can give this error

 

Prove both sets of contacts within switch.

 

While we are on this subject I need to adjust the fingerboard under the wash up tray it is slightly contacting plate on ds I see it is attached to a bracket that moves both top and bottom bar / cd 74.
