Hi there,

SM102 -4 with perfector, build in 2002, cpc 2000.

The servo buttons at the press feeder don´t work if the error is present.
If you want adjust them there is no reaction and the display shows you -204 for example.

Sometimes if you restart the machine the error is away for a short time but not always.
If you work sometimes the error is gone or coming back how it want´s. There is no rule for it.

If the error is present the buttons at the outlay didn´t work too. Sometimes.

    This was the INIT test.

Now the servo buttons work again and the INIT test didn´t show the error anymore.

    In DYN test t= -1 we got s-ssk 1 and s-ssk 2 M1 ,
    in DYN test t= 0 we got s-ssk 1

    Hi Chris,
It's a common issue with SSK modules. You have replace it. There is a chance to repair it and I can do it for you.
Send me an email if you need a quotation.

    Good luck

thanks guys. This will help me on my way.

I will have a chat with a HDM electrican in pension next week.
My mechanical one said today he would help.

I wouldn´t send the circuit out as long we can work with it cause otherwise all stands still :)

First is to find out wich card it is. I know the SAK, i know the SEK, i knwo the SSK is a group with two cards ssk2 and the big one nearbe. or not?

already replaced the orange one on the SAK but this didn´t helped. it had 2.3 or 2,1 Volts from 3.0 .

in the operating instructions i didn´t find this SSK all people talking abaout. I just found a component group named 15SSK2. So thats the first secret i got to find out.

So if it would be 100% the SSK.... ok. But I heared that these 24 volt and 15 volt batteries hang together with some NTK modules. Maybe the fault could be NTK too.

All in all i will let you know what i have done. Last thing is to let it replace from HDM. But before i will try a lot to fix it alternative. So i am happy for all input.

In your machine you have two SSK2 boards, you can swap

    thank you!

    Yeah this was confusing me.

So whats the big one near the SSK on the right side?

Also try to replace one SSK of those two and swapping them to find out which is?

And why are there two? Is this for the feeder and the outlay?

Cause sometimes the outlay works and just the feeder stucks. Sometimes both doesen´t work.

Swap between the SSK2 'S which shown in the picture,
    Screenshot_20201128_182841.jpg

The right hand side one is the power supply (NTK), you can replace it with one from the above (all the same)

  • It was the ac -dc converter SSK.
It was replaced and machine is running like a new one since 2 years.
Thanks for the help offers but i decided for merlin pre press parts for repairing it.
