SM102 SBM Error?

Currently having problem, SBM ERROR? Any one can help us it's been days now and still our machine is down, thanks.

I recommend you, follow this steps, with his schematic diagram of his machine

Normally that problem is associate with;

1) ConnectionSBM1 -SVT Faulty +Connection SVT-RER faulty : Check the connections please and clean very well, with special electronic contacts cleaner.

2) Faulty onSBM1 : Replace SBM1, ( emergency mode possible)

3) Connections SMB2-SVT Faulty +Connections SVT-RER faulty : Check connections!!!

4) Connections SBM2-SVT +Connections SVT-RER : check connections

5) Faulty SBM2 : Replace SBM2 ( emergency mode possible)

Pls share the errors, do you have an electrician that can check the errors? Usually if it is the SBM it can be repaired very easily.

 

Hi, sorry for the late reply, our SM102 is still down , and out maintenance is doing everything they already did the steps you suggested, still our SM102 is down , the power motor is erratic and the ampere is also erratic our CPC SHOWS SBM ERROR 7BFF, this picture is taken from our SM72 , just wanted to point out that in the SBM that is what it shows in the error, current we can't turn on the machine I hope you understand thanks and God Bless

If the error shows up in INIT that means the SBM has a wrong power code, have you swapped the SBM from another machine? Probably one that has a smaller motor, if the error code shows up in DYN then there is over current at SBM 1, in either case you will have to send it off to repair. If the electrician can manage to take the two SBM's out there are three thyristor modules on each SBM and can be checked by following the pin configuration printed on the side of the thyristor module, an electrician who knows how to check can easily check these modules with a multimeter, I am positive one these modules is defective and you might get away with just replacing a thyristor that you can probably buy from the market
