Slow console - Man Roland 300

Hello fellow Man Roland printers.

Our 300 machine is behaving a little odd.

The console is slow and sometimes you cant do the commands on the keys on the console. But after 10-30 sec it comes back in?

Hard drive going bad or something else?

Review pins of PROM+ EPROM, for dirty+ corroded or Corrosion, clean with special cleaner contacts electronic, use Wristrap for avoid electroctastic charge in your hand, and damage to the IC EPROM, PROM, Very important !

2) Look in the Board of CpU, for Dry+ colder S0lder joint, + ribbon or flat cables, defective or dirty or corroded pins!

3) If his system has buttery , test it too. very important!

We dont save any jobs in the console.

It seems that only the buttons on the right go out from time to time. (where you register and adjust etc)

Ink keys work and also the PC keybord inside the console?

Can it be bad connection?

The PC keyboard works but the commands are limited there.
There are no stored jobs the prepress menu. We always adjust pre and on the fly.

It seem to be a loose wire or connector. We opened the console, blew out dust and moved the connectors and it seems to be that. It goes out again but when we move some of the connectors, the console works again.

Could it be that?

Change hard disc

HD is easily verified. It is difficult to change.
