SinoCorrugated 2013 Promoted Successfully at SuperCorrExpo

In early October, SinoCorrugated project team went to SuperCorrExpo 2012, the largest Western hemisphere trade show for the corrugated industry. The team participated in the US exhibition to promote SinoCorrugated 2013, one of the world’s biggest business platforms for the global corrugated manufacturing trade. SinoCorrugated is an all-in-one, China-based channelvia which buyers and exhibitors communicate face-to-face and conduct brisk business.

From October 1 to October 4, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, the team took in all 300 exhibits, across a 12,000 sqm display area. The event, hosted by the corrugated industry’s two largest trade bodies, the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI) and the Association of Independent Corrugated Converters (AICC), also featured a four-day joint conference program.

The project team ran a booth at SuperCorrExpo to raise awareness of the SinoCorrugated brand in North and South America, and to attract industry practitioners from this market to SinoCorrugated 2013 in Shanghai. The booth drew widespread attention, not only by generating hundreds of inquiries for information on the show, but also by getting over 50 visitors to pre-register for SinoCorrugated 2013 right there on-site. Furthermore, a number of SuperCorrExpo exhibitors signaled a keen interestin exploring the China and Asia-Pacific market by also exhibiting at SinoCorrugated next year.

During their time at SuperCorrExpo, the project team also met with key TAPPI members to discuss potential partnership prospects. The talks were highly progressive and yielded an agreement to investigate cooperative opportunities between the two parties in the future.

SinoCorrugated 2013 will be the biggest commercial platform for corrugated paperboard manufacturing and a bringing together of the world’s top suppliers with its most powerful buyers. The show will run from April 8 to April 11 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, China.
