Hi, wondering if anyone had any help?

We had to change both servo drives for both drive and operator sidelays on our SM52 as they stopped working about 1 month apart,
We were using the one that still was working until that one stopped working also.

Swapped old for new and now having trouble with them not going to the correct position for the paper size entered on the console, was wondering if you have to do something in order to set them up so the sidelays can find the correct spot( position), can be up to 20mm out when setting the size to say 450mm,
    has anyone encountered this before?

Try min sheet size, max sheet size then desired sheet size.
Poss with a power reboot too.

    Hi Brent,
when changing servo drives you have first to set the motor to the right increments after that is done you have to set the spindel to the right mechanical position.

OK thanks, understand what you are saying,

Probably why they were not going to the correct position, i sort of thought you just fit and they will find the mark, my bad.. will get ex Heidelberg engineers to sort out, not many left in Oz to get it done.

After each change of the servomotors, it is necessary to respect the electrical zero and the mechanical zero, so that it can give you the exact interval of the race.
    Good luck
