short run jigsaw puzzle production - looking for prices and information

I'm looking for a company that can produce 500-1000 puzzles, either mounting, coating, and cutting existing prints or printing and jigsaw puzzle cutting. Anyone have a recommendation for this type of job and/or some ballpark pricing information.

I haven't found a company that offers pricing in the 500-1000 run-length range yet

I've found a few retail offerings for custom diecut puzzle creation:
The prices above for the ideal size puzzle for the project I have in mind (16x20 or 18x24 or larger size) are too high to resell these though for the project I have in mind.

I've found a couple of very small machines:

    16" x 10" 252 / 504 / 756 piece puzzle die set
    11" x 17" 308 piece puzzle die
    (a little too small)

  • Jeff,

Did you ever finish that project? I am curious to know what companies were able to create 500-1000 puzzles for you. Feel free to send me an email.
    Thanks,

    Tom

No I got busy and didn't follow through on this idea. I do have a friend who got some puzzles cut recently - next time I see them I'll have to ask where they had them done and what the paid.

  • Thanks for the reply Jack, but a 12" x 16.5" maximum size seems too small for my taste for a puzzle and I can't find any larger option referenced on that site. Do they do larger?
