Sakurai Oliver 258EII Error Code

Hello everyone,

We are having problem with Sakurai Oliver 258EII and now the machine is stop working, so when we turn it on the machine, the seven segment panel which shows the speed is giving error number 00 only.

Anyone know what number 00 mean ? or have problem like this before ?

Any advise will be helpful

its eprom is missbehaving. Try to push reset button on main mother board if its working fine then ok.otherwise you have to change the EPROM..if you need i have one..

Hi sir:
After if you can reset the CPU board or MOBO(mother board) , and does NOT work, please look:

1) Flat cable dirte, or loose, or bad contacts, clean it.

2) if your system has Ribbon cable, test it, and clean it very well, and replace if necessary.

3) Measure the power supply for Vca Vdc some Voltages can be out of tolerance , normally the tolerance in Vca is 10% up or down and Vdc is 0.7% up or down, repair or replace.

4) Clean VERY WELL, ALL edge Connector from corrosion( this represent the 85% of electronic failure).
