Was wondering if anyone else had blown the Fuji FRE-100A Servo Amp on their Sakurai 258. It's going to cost me $2,400 to repair the amp. I'm afraid there is something else wrong with the press that will blow the amp again once we put power to it. (The amp got hot and smoked when we turned on the main power, didn't try to run the motor or anything else). The component on the amp that blew (according to the repair facility) is the pre-charge contactor. Sakurai doesn't service machines of this age anymore. I guess I'm at the point do I gamble the $2,400 or just scrap it and find a replacement.
Thanks for your comments.

Hi sir;

Hope you are well.

I Can recommend strong you , replace it in the Power Input; 1) protector device Overcurrent in the line R2 2) Noise filter between LINES R2-1 S2

Of course you must test if the power input in his machine 3 phases 200/220VAC -50/60HZ, is the range of tolerance of 10% up or down, since you AMP, the Feed input Voltage is 100V,see his schematic please page #11.

In short i can recommend you ; to Install additional Stabilizer Voltage in the Input of machine near of main transformer, in that way you can control the Primary of Main transformer and the secondary for the Input of his Servo Amp .
