Ryobi 524GX communication problem

I have a Ryobi 524GX. I have put in a new hard drive that I got from Ryobi. I am having issues with the computer restarting while the press is running now.
Any suggestions?

 

First I would have to ask what information was used to acquire your new HD? Secondly, if you do possibly have the correct HD the restarting could be due to the UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) which is also found in the same compartment as the PC. If the UPS is going bad or has been bad for some time, it could be the reason your HD was damaged in the first place.

 

I got the drive from Ryobi Mfg. Japan through a dealer. I replaced the UPC battery before I put the hard drive in. Once I in I restarted the press and it runs
fine except for the computer restarting. We have noticed that the counter on the console is different than the counter on the press, usually a little behind.
