I put some new washup blades on my 524 and now it washes up terribly. Tried adjusting up, down. Less pressure, more pressure. Takes 15 minutes or more just to rinse rollers. They are the kind of clear ones. The old blades I think were black but can not find them anywhere to buy. I'm I not doing something right or what. Any thoughts?

May be it is plastic blade? I hate it. I like to use silicone (rubber) wash up blades. They contact roller more smoothly.

The polyurethane ones are good. The main thing during installation is to carefully check the plane of the knife with a ruler and remove all hills and pits.
