    dear friends,

we have a problem with main motor control unit on Roland 308P, perfector has a fault causing it to intermittently drop sheets, but in straight print it runs fine and the computer, which controls the drives from the main motor is not working.
Main computer works fine, we heard that it is Thyristor drive fault .....any help is appreciated.

    Main drive problem R308

It sounds like you may have two unrelated problems:
    1. dropping sheets in perfecting mode may be a mechanical problem, adjustment.
    2. As far as the main thyristor drive, it is not clear what problem you have. Can you
be more clear on the symptoms? What kind or error does it show. Does the machine
    inch, run at all?
