Hello everyone,
I have a problem with a Roland 100 offset printing press.
The safety cover indicator lamp for the second printing unit remains permanently on, regardless of whether the safety cover is open or closed.
I have checked almost the entire electrical circuit related to this function, including:
- the safety switch itself,
- the wiring,
- the relay boards involved in the circuit.
The safety switch has already been tested both mechanically and electrically while connected to the machine. Changing its state does not affect the indicator lamp.
I also tested the relay boards separately using a 24 V power supply to verify that all relays and contacts operate correctly. So far, I have not found any faults.
Initially, after switching on the machine, the indicator lamp would turn off by itself after several minutes. However, the problem has gradually worsened. Now the lamp stays on continuously and the machine cannot be started or brought up to running speed.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem with a Roland 100? Any suggestions or troubleshooting ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
