    Hi veryone,

I am trying to find information re: the latest version of the follwong 3 kinds of RIPs (used on various machines comparable to Xante Ilumina ) : Adobe Postscript L3 RIP, Fiery, and Harlequin. I think the first two come as hardware but I am not sure about the Harlequin RIP. My first choice would be the Adobe RIP. Any thoughts on how these 3 compare to each other ?

    Thanks in advance

You can find out more about the Harlequin RIP at http://www.rti-rips.com. The Harlequin is software based so the faster the computer you install it on the faster it will gobble up files. To my knowledge most Fiery RIPs are hardware based and you can find out more about the product at http://efi.com. A software based solution makes more sense because it can usually be upgraded in the future.
