    Good day,

I recently bought a lightly used Ricoh Pro c5200s printer from the UK, no Fiery controller, PostScript SD card installed, no finisher.
I use the printer alone, so a standard USB cable connection or a LAN cable would be quite enough for me.
When the printer is turned on, the touch screen shows an image where the PaperCut MF application is trying to connect to a DHCP server.

By clicking on the word admin at the bottom right of the screen, a new screen will appear with the text: administrator access required. To change this configuration, log in as an administrator.

The question is, how can you log in to the printer as an administrator to change one or another setting there?
The printer also has a saved user whose password, unfortunately, I don't know.
so I can't change, for example, the gram weight of the paper from the printer screen.

I don't know the admin password either, but a new admin password can be set under maintenance mode and I can log in there!
Is it possible to delete a user whose username and password I don't know from the administrator mode?
Can the administrator mode also be logged in from the printer screen or only through the PaperCut MF application?
I have also tried to get the passwords from the printer vendor, but without success.
I also sent a question to Ricoh Europe support, and there has been no feedback either.

Maybe someone smarter can suggest a solution so that I can still use this printer normally?

    Many thanks!
    Taivo

    Update!
The admin password was changed under the maintenance menu.
The username and pw, which I initially thought were the details of a regular machine user, were for the actual administrator.
So I managed to log into the machine as an administrator and make the necessary changes there.
At the moment, there is still an annoying PaperCut MF app that is still trying to contact the server.
It would be nice to be able to close this app somehow ...
