Recovering grippers????

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to recover grippers(transfer drum/impression cylinder) off 3302, type of rubber used, exact thickness of it things like that just seems like a waste to spend so much when I could just recover them. Hope some one out there knows if this is doable wouldn't mind being able to pass on savings to my customers
