Quick question - Can Silver Master plate material be cut?

Can Silver Master plate material be cut? I found a great price on a case of 13" wide material and my plate maker only goes to 11.25 wide. Is there a way I can cut this material?

Can´t cut, because it´s light sensitive + surface might scratched.

if you can do it in the dark or plan on throwing a few feet away maybe put the roll on a tube so you can spin it. mount a carpet/utility knife where you want the cut to be and strip the cut material away as you turn the roll and pressure the knife. just an idea, but may work. keep the non cut material tapped so it won`t unroll and get light flashed.
