Question regarding printing solutions

Hi all,
I currently have a rather niche printing need that I'm curious on your thoughts about. I'm trying to consider the logistics of running a business that would, every month, require printing of around 500 (a very rough estimate, long term there would be more) booklets, each booklet with a different design and meant for a different customer. Ideally, these booklets are around 50-75 pages each (+cover), at around 4.25 x 5.5 inches, in color. All specific numbers I've mentioned so far are an estimate, but I'm just wanting to get a rough idea if this is something that would necessitate the purchase of a commercial (likely digital) printing press. As I've tried exploring the problem, I'm grown unsure that this the best solution (especially considering the price of most digital printing presses). The software to handle this is not something I'm worried about (I'm willing to make 500 different layouts, if need be), but I'm wondering if there are many printing presses or companies that can handle, effectively, the requirements of a print job like this.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
(And if this is the wrong place to post this, apologies for cluttering your forum!)

Thank you.

Hi cooper
Start with Outsourcing Test the market, refine your process, and build your customer base without taking on large expenses.
Once you consistently exceed a certain threshold (e.g., 1,000 booklets/month), reevaluate the economics of bringing production in-house. You can Invest in software for variable data and layout automation to minimize the manual workload.
Dont.miss Partner with a local digital printing company that can offer discounted rates for bulk orders.
Good luck
