Question on Polar 76EM

I have an issue with the 76EM. We had an error 88, 89 and 87 show recently.

Turning off and on solves the problem and can continue to work.

We notice when testing that only when we interrupt a cutting cycle and try to cut again, the error shows..

Is this normal functionality and a safety switch or sensor..

Hi sir:

This is NOT normal condition.

1) You must check the connector 87b+87a, and make test of continuity from the cut buttom S28a+S28b, The contacts # 21+22 in both must be closed in normal condition N.C , AND # 13+14 N.O , look for loose wires, or broken wires, or faulty switchs.

2)this faulty condition mentioned before, can affect the Safety Bolt( mechanical stiffnes) lubricate, and see if there a loose wires, or broken wires, or if the limit switch or sensors are out of position or faulty. Replace it in necessary case.

3) The board IAR, can be faulty or the flat ribbon cable. see in the IAR, if the LED V1 is OFF( normally), when you activated the cut button the LED V1 , must be ON.
