QMDI crashing ink profiles

A weird problem is occurring with one of our QMDI's,

When a new INK profile is loaded the computer crashes everytime and doesn't complete the loading of the INK Profile.

This also occurs whenever changes are made to multiple INK channels in an existing profile.

However if I apply changes to any single channel and click apply all motors move as normal and the PC doesn't crash.

So when the computer crashes I have to restart it and load an INK profile manually one channel at a time.

Any thoughts on what the problem may be?

What QMDI model are you using (Classic, Plus or Pro)?
Is the QMDI (GUI) computer freezing or crashing (rebooting)?
We may be able to help!

 

Drop all inkprofiles resident on the console, otherwise try cleaning the gold contacts from all pcb's inserted in the PC from the console.

 

Already tried deleting all Ink profiles, will clean all the contacts as suggested and let you know

The problem turned out to be a loose connection on the MAR4 back plane (Board on the back of the motor drive rack)
