QM46-2 SF Error code 01-04

The roll pin on the main drive gear sheared. After replacing pin, we are no longer able to load/eject plates or go into production. After restarting machine, if we try to load plate, press rotates, but encoder can’t find position. How do we correct or adjust?

Error when detecting the triple-speed shaft
(causes: wrong adjustment or sensor defective).


When turning the press backwards and then
forwards again, the press synchronizes anew
within one rotation.

Look, the sensor is ok, clean it, tight every loose wires or replace broken cables.

 

Thank you for the suggestion, CHOCK. We were able to zero out the cylinder and adjust positioning with the guidance of Stan from Intermountain Press Service. We are back up and running and I'm grateful for the help.
