    We have 3 QM-46s and one of them will hard stop because the motor for the air pressure does not turn on soon enough to keep the pressure up. It's ready to go again after maybe 3 seconds and out of all 3 it has the strongest pump. Is there a sensor/switch that can go bad and cause the delay or what would cause the pump not to kick on soon enough?

    Hi Sir;

    Clean very well the sheet monitor device with contact cleaner spray

    ; 1) Sensor 2) +light barrier , is there in the feeder. Look, too for loose wires, or corroded, or semi broken, false contacts, or Faulty Device.

    However, examine, the hoses, from the Compressor, if there are some small Leaking, causing the delay, and of course clean or change the filter of Pumps, very well.

    Behind the guard of the feeder hand crank, down at the bottom of the air tank there are 2 pressure switches. One for periodic moisture release, the other for the compressor on/off. I've had this problem twice with different presses and found that replacing these switches is the best option. There are contacts and adjusters inside the switch, one side for low pressure, the other for high pressure. Each Switch is behind 2 small black plastic guards. I will try to find a part number for you

    You can verify with SF-56 error 11-02 while the press is running and then stops. The error will disappear when the press re gains pressure. IMG_2199.jpg IMG_2200.jpg

    Alright thank you for the reply, are the switches the Y19 and Y25? I feel like the one that opens for condensation has been a problem in the past so that would make sense. Or would it be in the black compartment coming out of the tank?
