QM 46-2 ERROR

Anyone know the code for Error 1 / 11-02
Any assistance would be appreciated

this error is coming by limit switch S17 pile up Feeder, please see for loose wires.
faulty switch, or lack of voltage , see your schematic diagrams pag 7 .

 

CHOCK, this makes sense. I was asked to learn this press, now Im removing years of crud. I was working on feeder area Tuesday. Removed guard above feeder cleaned as good as possible. I noticed the guard is on a rocker bar, probably a limit switch involved. Will press run without guard if the limit switch is fixed? Thanks

I was checking the schematic diagrams for your machine, and Do not see any Limit switch for Guard safety.
In short, you can Run the machine without guard for Feeder.
Of course there are other safety guards in the machine
That you must observe, in order to the Run machine. but without guard for Feeder if the limit switch is fixed, can RUN.
Try it.
