Production Color Envelope Printer

I am looking for a production machine that can print full color envelopes.

I have tried laser printers and they really do not work to well. What do large print shops use? I only have a 30K budget.

I am also looking for a production printer capable of running envelopes. To me it seem like ink-jet will be the way to go, no heat and no pressure. Riso has a newer model inkjet duplicator that runs envelopes quite well. Resolution is still quite low, I think its 300x600 dpi. I hope they are working on a hi res version. I'd buy in at 1000x1000. Any body out there running envelopes on the Riso ink jet?

Xante sells a Oki Data machine with feeder and conveyor. A company named PSI engineering sells the same machine but with alot better feeder. both have Fiery RIP and perform well, but that feeder on the PSI is great. IKON is suppose to be selling them soon. Freeman graphics alredy does through a company called INTOprint out of the northeast.
